What we look for in a restaurant space

The kitchen is the expensive part. A Type I hood, a grease interceptor, gas capacity and a path for the exhaust can add months and a large share of the budget when they're missing — which is why second-generation restaurants are so sought after.

Out front, it's about the guest: visibility from the street, a patio where the city allows one, parking for your seat count, and neighbors who bring the lunch, dinner or late-night crowd you're built for. If alcohol is part of the plan, we look at whether a license is realistic at that address.

Curating exceptional real estate for restaurants

Full-service, fast-casual, café or bar — from the first lease to the last service, we're committed to the success of your venue.

Questions we hear

Is a second-generation restaurant always the better deal?

Usually faster and cheaper to open, but only if the equipment and systems are sound. We look closely before you rely on them.

How do I limit my personal guarantee?

Guarantees can often be capped or set to burn off after a period of on-time rent. We negotiate it as part of the deal.

Can you help me sell my restaurant?

Yes — the business, the equipment and the lease. Business & asset sales →
